Years ago, in the middle of 15th century, at Vinci, Republic of Florence, a child was born.

This child had a destiny. He was going to change the entire world.

One man. The whole world.

With him, the myth of the «Reinassance Man» became true. A man who was capable to of concentrate the knowledge of many and diverse areas. A man able to know about physics, architecture, music, painting.

This type of human being was called polymath, and the man himself, Leonardo Da Vinci.

Nowadays his work lasts.

The Gioconda in painting.

The helicopter and the submarine in engineering.

The Viturbian man in anatomy.

And the list continues.

But back to the actual reality, in the 10s of the 21st century the «polymath» seems doomed to disappear. The engineers must specialize his knowledge in something instead of having a deep background in many areas.

Is this the correct path?

Who knows. But there is one thing important to take into consideration: only with the join of both, the art and the science, the mankind will be able to change the world as we know it now.
